FRDM announced last month that the company would implement a biofuel model that could collect up to 30,000 gallons of grease a month that could be sold at $1.75 per gallon. The company had planned to collect grease from existing commercial clients and expected the new, green initiative to be one of many lucrative eco-friendly revenue models. If completed, the deal with Northeast Biodiesel is projected to generate $600,000 dollars over the next 12 months, with shipments beginning as early as summer of 2010.
